March 21 —Scuppernong Books Cider Tasting
Greensboro, NC

Scuppernong Books in Greensboro lifts the spirits of every book lover. This independent bookstore is a haven for browsing, sipping coffee and enjoying a glass of wine or cider. Join Foggy Ridge owner, Diane Flynt, for a cider tasting from 3 to 4, complete with heirloom apples and snacks. And books of course!

March 20 —Harvest Moon Cider Tasting
Floyd, VA

Join Foggy Ridge General Manager, Sue Carter, to sample our latest cider blends at Floyd's best source for all things local. Free. 2 to 5

April 11-12 —Opening Weekend
It's Customer Appreciation time on opening weekend at Foggy Ridge. Stop by for special pricing on our award winning ciders, snacks and a variety of door prizes. $7 tasting fee includes six ciders plus logo glass. Saturday 11 to 5. Sunday 12 to 5.

April 18—Farmville WIne Festival
Farmville, VA

Riverside Park in Farmville hosts the best wine, beer and cider, along with music and local crafts. We'll be there from 11 to 6.

April 24—Taste 2015 Cider Dinner
Durham, NC

Taste 2015, "a celebration of food and drink", says it all. Join Chef Rick Moore of Saltbox Seafood Joint and Chef John Eisensmith of Six Plates Wine Bar for an all Foggy Ridge Cider dinner. Four courses plus extra bites from Mattie Beason are bound to please. Snag one of the few remaining tickets for Olive Oil Poached Monkfish, Shawarma Spiced Beef Tenderloin, Smoky Eggplant Spread and Roasted Beets and much more.

April 25 —Bloom Fest
There's nothing more beautiful than a mountain orchard in full bloom. Visit for a cider tasting, or picnic under apple blossoms with snacks from our Food Truck. Reserve a spot for an Orchard Walk with owner, Diane Flynt, at 1:00 or 3:00. $10 tasting fee includes six ciders, logo glass plus Orchard Walk. Open 11 to 5

May 9 —Second Saturday Music with Hard Cider
We couldn't resist—the band Hard Cider brings their eclectic version of Blue Grass to the Foggy Ridge crush pad. Cast Iron Catering offers locally sourced food for your picnic pleasure. $12 tasting fee includes six ciders, logo glass plus music. Open 11 to 5. Music 12 to 4.

May 16 —Vinton WIne& Food Festival
Vinton, VA

The Vinton War Memorial lawn hosts local wineries and, yes, Foggy Ridge for a day of music, crafts, food and beverage. 1 to 6.

May 30 —Where The Buffalo Roam
Foggy Ridge Cider & Buffalo Mountain
Come roam the Buffalo, Buffalo Mountain that is. Take a shuttle from Foggy Ridge to nearby Buffalo Mountain for a short guided hike with Naturalist Eric Harrold that rewards with 360 degree views. Return for local buffalo burgers and chili for sale from Brushy Creek Bison Farm, and cider tasting. $12 tasting fee includes six ciders, logo glass and shuttle to and from the Buffalo. Tasting without shuttle $7. Reserve a spot. Open 11 to 5.

May 30 —James River Wine Festival
Lynchburg, VA

Foggy RIdge joins 12 local wineries for the 3rd annual James River Wine Festival. 11 to 6.

June 6— Chef Series with Local Roots Restaurant
Local Roots, Roanoke's top spot for locavore dining, brings their focus on flavor and local ingredients to Foggy Ridge in this first Chef Series. Chef Matt creates three pairings to sample with three ciders. Stop by and celebrate "local" on the plate and in the glass. Reserve a spot. $12 covers cider & pairings. Saturday 11 to 5

June 6 —Big Lick Beertopia
Roanoke, VA

It's back—SWVA's best beer festival, plus artisan cider too. 12 to 6.

June 13 —Second Saturday Music Series with Ragtop
Welcome our favorite songwriting duo back to the Foggy Ridge crush pad for classic tunes, R&B and their own brand of Blue Grass. Bring your friends and enjoy a day in the orchard. Cast Iron Catering brings local cuisine for purchase. $12 tasting fee includes six ciders, logo glass plus music. Open 11 to 5. Music 12 to 4.

June 27—Yoga in the Orchard
Yoga in the vineyard is all the rage, why not an heirloom apple orchard? Warm up with a stroll through the orchard, join a 90 minute basic/intermediate Hatha Yoga class then relax with a glass of cider and a snack. Yoga classes begin at 11 and 2. Reserve a spot. $15 fee covers six cider tastings, logo glass and yoga class.

July 11—Second Saturday Music Series with Butch Robins
Known for his classic Blue Grass style, banjo artist Butch Robins plays on the Foggy Ridge crush pad from 12 to 4. Cast Iron Catering offers favorite local dishes. $12 tasting fee includes six ciders, logo glass and plus music. Open 11 to 5.

August 8 —Second Saturday Music Series with Gabriel Morales
Composer and blues guitar wunderkind Gabriel Morales visits the crush pad for a day of inpsired tunes—this young singer songwriter can belt it out with the best. Cast Iron Catering is on hand with local cuisine on offer. $12 tasting fee includes six ciders, logo glass plus music. Open 11 to 5. Music 12 to 4.

September 12—Fall Orchard Walk
Hewe's Crab, Parmar, Ribston Pippin...join owner Diane Flynt for a fall orchard tour through an heirloom apple orchard. Sign up for a tour at 1 or 3. Food truck on site so bring a blanket for an orchard picnic. Open 11 to 5.

September 26 —Chef Series with Our Daily Bread Bakery & Cafe
Blacksburg's Our Daily Bread brigns their French inspired cooking to Foggy Ridge. Expect beautiful savory and sweet dishes from this most artistic restaurant paired with three ciders. Reserve a spot. $12 covers cider and pairings. Open 11 to 5.

October 10 —Apple Harvest Celebration at Foggy Ridge
Taste the fruits, and the beverage, of the season as Foggy Ridge celebrates The Apple. Sample heirloom favorites like Cox's Orange Pippin, Ashmead's Kernel and Roxbury Russett along with award winning cider. Learn about how cider is made and apples are grown. $10 covers cider & apple tasting. Saturday 11 to 5

November 14 —Chef Series with The Pallisades Restaurant
You've heard about The Pallisades restaurant in Eggleston—now's your chance to sample fare from this award winning restaurant. Enjoy three small dishes paired wtih three ciders for $12. Reserve a spot. Open 11 to 5.

November 13—22 CiderWeekVA
This statewide celebration includes events from Arlington to Abingdon, many featuring Foggy Ridge Cider. Stay tuned for details at

November 27—29 Thanksgiving Open House
Prolong your holiday indulgences with a drive to Foggy Ridge Cider's late fall orchards where we're open all weekend, Friday through Sunday. On Friday and Saturday, enjoy seasonal homemade soup from Floyd's favorite local caterer, Cast Iron Catering, paired with the beverage of the season. You can start your holiday shopping with cider gift boxes. $10 covers music and tasting. Soup & cider pairing on Friday and Saturday 11 to 5; open Sunday 12 to 5

December 19 —Holiday Open House
Celebrate the holiday on our last open day of the season. Delight your friends and family with gift baskets, boxes and bags full of artisan cider and seasonal treats, all designed to please. Expect cider, hoilday snacks and music of the season. $7 tasting fee covers six ciders and logo glass. Open 11 to 5.
