“Appalachian Appleseed”

From Charlottesville’s Heirloom restaurant in the Graduate Hotel

  • 3 oz Foggy Ridge First Fruit Cider
  • 1.5 oz Laird’s Old Apple Brandy
  • 3 dashes Cardamom Bitters
  • ½ oz fresh lemon juice
  • 1 oz ginger beer
  • ½ oz simple syrup
  • Lemon twist

Preparation: In a mixing glass combine cider, brandy, bitters, lemon juice, ginger beer, and simple syrup. Add ice and stir. Strain into a chilled coupe glass and garnish with a lemon twist. Sit back and enjoy.
