“Appalachian Appleseed”
From Charlottesville’s Heirloom restaurant in the Graduate Hotel
- 3 oz Foggy Ridge First Fruit Cider
- 1.5 oz Laird’s Old Apple Brandy
- 3 dashes Cardamom Bitters
- ½ oz fresh lemon juice
- 1 oz ginger beer
- ½ oz simple syrup
- Lemon twist
Preparation: In a mixing glass combine cider, brandy, bitters, lemon juice, ginger beer, and simple syrup. Add ice and stir. Strain into a chilled coupe glass and garnish with a lemon twist. Sit back and enjoy.
